Here at Xology Studio we provide a range of award winning hairdressing services and hair extensions in Darlington.
Who we are
Xology Studio was established by Victoria Cartwright in 2012 as a freelance hair extension service, and has since grown to a busy County Durham salon with amazing members of staff and over 1000 clients on our booking system. Our team of experts provides a specialist hair extension and hair replacement service alongside innovative cutting and colouring techniques for all our clients whether they are hair extension wearers or not. Our client base comes from far and wide for the quality of our service and to enjoy the relaxed, friendly atmosphere at our Darlington salon.

Our Mission
Xology Studio was created out of Victoria’s desire to provide a professional, niche hair extension service to women of the North-East and beyond, having been dissatisfied herself with the lack of services available in the area. Having the hair you’ve always wanted need not be beyond your reach as our stylists are trained in a vast range of hair extension fitting methods, hair replacement for clients with thinning hair or medical conditions, and a creative, skilled cutting and colouring service to complement these.
Our mission is to build a loyal and repeat client base who believe in our brand values and see their hair as a long-term investment. All our stylists are fully qualified in hairdressing, and continually update their skills, learning the latest extension, hair replacement, cutting and colouring techniques. We are incredibly passionate about our brand, we appreciate our loyal clients and we love what we do!
We listen
We love how diverse our client base is, with ages ranging from 18-80 across all of our services. The reason for this? We listen to each individual client’s needs and tailor our services to suit. So if it’s short hair you have and want something a little longer, we can help. If it’s fine hair you have and want something a little thicker, we can help. Each of our fittings are unique and we do our best to ensure that our clients leave feeling a little more confident than they did when they first came in!

Our aim is to provide a unique, personal service to each of our clients, and we will therefore never try to sell you something that we don’t feel is suitable or necessary. Our advice is based on our extensive experience of fitting hair extensions, and will be given to ensure that your own hair and your extensions stay in the best possible condition for as long as possible. We appreciate that a good set of hair extensions isn’t cheap (and nor should it be!), however we believe our services offer excellent value for money and we have a hair extension fitting method and supplier to suit every budget.
